Hello! My name is Kira and I am 19 years old.
My interest in Japan arose at an early age through anime and manga, but soon I wanted to learn more about the country, the culture and the language. In 2017 a dream came true. For the first time I traveled to Japan.
Back then I spent one week in Kyoto, and the impressions I gained during that short period of time got stuck in my head. Since then, I knew that this was my first visit to Japan, but it will not be my last one!
After I finished school in summer 2019, I wanted to escape the familiar patterns of my everyday life. So I thought it would be the perfect time to keep my promise and return to Japan.
