皆さん, こんにちは! Minasan, konnichiwa! Hello everyone! 🌸
In Japan, even those places have incredible things, where you don't expect them at all. Recently a friend showed me around Kyoto Station and today I want to show you what there is to discover. 😉 It is best to start with a tour in the late afternoon. When entering the station, long escalators lead left and right to higher floors. Let's start on the right side. If you drive up the escalators here, you get to a perfect viewpoint with a view of the Kyoto Tower.
From there, a staircase leads down a bit. If you follow this path, you will reach a small sky garden. A few trees and plants were planted here.
If you walk a little further, you come to a staircase. If you follow this, you get to another one that leads up even further. With the help of lights, short videos are shown on that one.
At the end of the stairs, you come across a sun terrace. There you can not only enjoy the sun but also the view of the city!
Here you can easily pass the time until the sun dawns. But it gets really interesting when the sun has completely set. Until then, you can fortify yourself a little "Ramen Street”. Here you will find one ramen shop next to another. For me, it's a paradise! 😋
If you leave this indoor street to the other side, you can get back to the other side of the train station via a tunnel in which a light show is shown as soon as it gets dark. On the way, it is worth stopping at the window fronts. From here you have a great view of the Kyoto Tower, which is illuminated at night.
On the other side of the tunnel, a nice sight awaits you! The square there is surrounded by walls on which different light images are shown with spotlights. The place is also well lit otherwise. Both the pavilion there and the trees surrounding it are equipped with fairy lights. Some tables and chairs were set up. Here you can enjoy a cocoa or café that you can get from the vending machines there. ☕
But there is not only something for the eyes but also something for the ears, because a piano has been set up. Anyone who wants can play here. 🎼
This is the end of our little tour. Finally, you can take a look at the station that was built with lego. Here you can see all the places you have been today. 😉
But if that's not enough for you: there is a shopping center next to the train station and there are also various cafés and restaurants in the underground. You see, at a train station like here in Kyoto, you can easily pass the time. So if you should have a long waiting time here, you know what to do. Maybe you will discover even more hidden corners. 😉
次回まで! Jikai made! See you next time! 💕
